Flex / Java developers wanted!

One of JTeam’s customers is looking to expand their team. Therefore we are looking for good people that fit one of the following four profiles (in Dutch):

  • Flex/AIR developer Engine
  • Senior Flex/AIR developer
  • Grafisch georiĆ«nteerde interactie designer
  • Senior Java developer

Please note that our customer is looking only for direct hires to expand their team, so no freelancers please. Also note that we do not work with recruiters, so please no third-party inquiries.
For all positions, in addition to a market-conform salary the customer also offers room for personal development and growth. They offer a one-year contract, with the intention to extend this to a permanent contract. Candidates must be willing to work in the Amsterdam and Eindhoven area both.

Performance testing a Flex BlazeDS application

In the past few years I’ve seen an increasing interest in Flex applications at our customers. I have to say that I’m not surprised about this trend. Not only do Flex applications generally look great, but they also provide a big boost to user experience. As a developer and architect I am also quite pleased with the programming model and extensive widget library. Sure, Adobe can still improve on a lot of things, but so far I have always worked with pleasure on Flex applications.
